Oak staves and rim with Mahogany base. The rim is double wrapped . Made by Jack Kittila (1948-2004). Kittila used to weave 10-20 hours a week on board the Nantucket Lightship when it was docked on straight wharf and was a floating museum of the Nantucket Lightship Preservation.
