Small Unusual Nantucket Basket

Small free woven shallow basket with heart shaped oak handles. Most of the staves are cane with seven of them being made of oak, with the base is mahogany with notched corners. The basket was probably made as a token or keepsake and came down thru the Brock Family, purportedly belonging to Josiah Brock (1822-1901)
