   8” Open Round Nantucket Lightship Basket
   Oak staves , rim and carved handle thas   
   squared off the ends/ The handle is attached  
   with brass rivets and ears. The base is made 
   of a figured maple with four concentric incised
   lines, attributed to Sherwin Boyer (1907-1964),
    1940-1950
