7” Round Nantucket lightship basket with oak staves, swing handle and rim, the handle is attached with brass ears. The base is mahogany with incised circles. Attributed to Herbert Sandsbury (1911-1984) was a skilled Island carpenter, who worked many years as a cabinet maker at Marine Lumber.
