Open Round Basket by George "Bunt' Mackay

Open round lightship basket with a dark honey patina, sqaured off swing handle, wide Oak staves, double wrapped rim with a thick turned Mahogany base, mint condition, c. 1960,  Branded G. H. Mackay (1885-1971). Mackay was a long time summer resident of Nantucket and was president of the Wharf Rats Club in the 1960's
