British Mahogany Campaign Chest with Secretaire Drawer

Brass bound with carrying handles in two parts, the top drawer is hinged, opening to a leather writing surface with eight valanced cubby holes above four shallow drawers and a centering prospect door, below three Graduated drawers sitting on ring-turned cylindrical feet. English, c. 1860
