We are forever trying to find new and inventive styles of Nantucket baskets that will not only enhance our collection, but yours as well. From unusual forms to decorative weaves and heart-shaped carved handles, artists such as Janet Carreau, Manny Dias, Mary Howard, Joseph Urbanski, and Robert Cosgray (to name just a few) have grown our assortment of baskets in both sizes, styles, and embellishments exponentially, making it something that is ever-changing and growing.

Lidded Cannister Basket

Lidded Cannister Basket by Lucille LaRochelle. This is a great example of the constantly changing variety of baskets we carry. Lucille has woven this basket over a ceramic insert and added a cherry lid with an acorn finial. It makes a great catch-all for storing small items (change, beach glass, etc.) and could be used as a vase as well. This particular piece is 6 ½ inches high to the rim and 4 inches in diameter, thus able to work just about anywhere in your home.
