Lidded Cannister Basket
by Lucille LaRochelle.
This is a great example of the constantly changing variety of baskets we carry. Lucille has woven this basket over a ceramic insert and added a cherry lid with an acorn finial. It makes a great catch-all for storing small items (change, beach glass, etc.) and could be used as a vase as well. This particular piece is 6 ½ inches high to the rim and 4 inches in diameter, thus able to work just about anywhere in your home.

Delicate Ivory Skirted Basket
by Bill and Judy Sayle.
A first of its kind by the Sayles, this little basket is truly a gem and features all of the hand crafted elements Bill and Judy have become known for. Measuring 4 1/2 inches in diameter, it features a handle overlaid with ivory, ivory ears, hand hewn oak staves, and a delicate ivory scalloped apron situated just below the rim and "sewed" onto the basket by means of the rim wrap. A definite must have for any collector.
